March 12th-March 16th

We will begin this week learning our new letter ”Pp”.  The students will have fun learning about Panda’s, where they live and what they eat. We will also makes a Panda for our ABC Book.  We will be studying other “P” words like penguin, pony, and pig. We will be reading The Three Little Pigs and making a craft to go along with our story.

On numbers we will add #15 to learn by recognition, and we are writing to #13.  We will practice counting “pennies” and writing numbers of the dry erase boards.  Please keep the number flashcards handy at home. Use them a couple of times a week. If you don’t have any, just make them on regular paper.

We also are going to the computer lab now and the students seem to love it. They caught on really fast.  If you’d like to do this at home, we log onto www.starfall.com.  The students can practice letters, numbers, phonics, and art.

Reminder:  Ferns will be delivered this week. Be ready to pick them up at the high school.  School will dismiss at 1:15 Friday for Spring Break!
